Asking anything from God or Gurudev is good but the day you realize the truth and you stop asking for anything, that very day you attain God. This will require a little courage. Because you mind will not listen to you. You would want to ask for something for business or for family or for yourself. There will be some logic that will tell, “This is important first. Let me settle in business. Let me first earn money ”. Your intelligence will not allow you to stop asking for anything.
When we go to a school we get education from teachers to make our intelligence more mature which is called “Shiksha”, which is knowledge about the outer world: “What is this?” But when we come to a Guru, he gives you “Diksha” which is knowledge of “Who am I?”
